Terri DeBoer | Emcee, Author
Terri DeBoer will serve the event as both an author and our Emcee. Terri is a familiar face and voice across west Michigan, as she has been delivering the “wake-up” weather forecast on WOOD-TV since 1995!
As a working mother, DeBoer has weathered the seasons of life, from newlywed to busy mom… in a very public way.
Her transition into the current season in her life, the empty nest season, has been her most challenging yet!
In 2020, as the world was shutting down due to the coronavirus pandemic, DeBoer had signed a contract and began writing her very first book,
Brighter Skies Ahead: Forecasting A Full Life When You Empty The Nest. Brighter Skies Ahead is an easy-to-read guidebook, outlining 50 strategies for this challenging transition in life.
Publication date is set for November 9, 2021, which means that for our event this year, DeBoer will have advanced copies of her book, available for attendees to purchase before they are available in bookstores!
